Privacy Policy
Your progress stays yours.
Last updated September 29, 2026
This policy explains how 136 Media handles information in the upcoming Android game WorldShape, on its product pages at 136media.com, and when you contact support.
1. About WorldShape
WorldShape is an upcoming geography game from 136 Media. The current design does not require a player account and does not send game progress to a 136 Media server. This policy describes the app and SDK integrations in the current development source. If the released app's data practices change, this policy and the Google Play Data safety information will be updated.
2. Information stored on your device
WorldShape stores game records, daily challenge results, campaign chapter unlocks and stars, appearance preferences, completed session count used for ad frequency, and local ad-free entitlement state on your device. Typed answers are evaluated in the game and are not sent to 136 Media. The app does not create a player profile or cloud save.
You can remove local game data through Android Settings → Apps → WorldShape → Storage → Clear storage or Clear data. Uninstalling WorldShape also removes its local app data. A Google Play purchase is separate from local game progress and may be restored through the same Play account.
3. Advertising and consent
The Android project currently includes the Google Mobile Ads SDK and Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP). The planned release may show interstitial ads. UMP checks whether a consent message is required, presents it when applicable, and stores consent choices on the device. Ads are requested only when the SDK says they may be requested. The Mobile Ads SDK can automatically collect and share an IP address, app interactions, diagnostic information, and device or account identifiers such as the Android advertising ID and app set ID when available. Google uses this information for advertising, analytics, and fraud prevention. An IP address may be used to estimate a device's general location.
WorldShape itself does not request precise device location, and its bundled map data does not use live map tiles or location access. The Google Mobile Ads SDK encrypts its data in transit using TLS. See Google's Google Play data disclosure for the Mobile Ads SDK and UMP privacy information for Google's handling and controls. Available ad and consent choices can be opened from Settings → Privacy choices in the app.
4. Purchases
The current Android project includes Google Play Billing for a planned one-time Remove Ads purchase. Google Play processes payment and keeps the transaction record under its terms and privacy practices. The app receives the purchase status needed to unlock or restore the ad-free setting. 136 Media does not receive payment card details and does not operate a purchase-verification server in the current version.
5. Information sent to support
If you email WorldShape@136Media.com, 136 Media receives your email address, message, and any attachments you choose to include. We use them to answer your question, investigate a reported problem, or handle a privacy request. Your email provider processes and stores the correspondence as part of sending and receiving it.
Please do not send passwords, payment card details, or unnecessary personal information. Support correspondence is kept while it is needed to respond, keep relevant business records, protect the service, or meet legal obligations. You can ask us to delete a support message by writing to the same address.
6. This website
The WorldShape pages on 136media.com do not require an account or accept game data. The site's hosting and security provider may process technical request information such as IP address, browser and device details, requested page, timestamp, and security events to deliver and protect the website.
7. Sharing and retention
136 Media does not receive local game records through the app and does not sell personal information. Google receives the information described above when its advertising or billing services are used. Email and website service providers process information needed to deliver those services. Each provider's own privacy policy governs its processing. Local game data remains on the device until cleared or the app is uninstalled; Google and service providers retain their records under their own policies.
8. Children and intended audience
WorldShape is designed to be classroom-friendly, but this description is not an age rating or a statement of the Google Play target audience. The intended age groups and the matching advertising treatment will be declared and configured before release. The game does not ask players to submit names, contact details, or location. Parents or guardians can contact 136 Media at WorldShape@136Media.com with privacy questions.
9. Security
Game records are kept in the Android app's private local storage and are not transmitted to a 136 Media game server. Google's Mobile Ads SDK encrypts its network traffic using TLS. Website access uses HTTPS. No method of storage or transmission can be guaranteed perfectly secure.
10. Changes and contact
This policy may change if the app, advertising configuration, or applicable requirements change. The current version will be posted at this URL with an updated date. For privacy questions or requests, contact 136 Media at WorldShape@136Media.com.
